2012 Honda Civic
Honda Civic 2012 requires the courage to update a known car design. Should we flippe out and risking to send all the cautious buyers away, or should we take a conservative route as with the faceliftede Passat and risk being accused of many against?
Honda throw themselves into it with the new designed Civic, which was presented Monday evening in Frankfurt. It is easy to recognize as a Civic, but when you see it in reality, it is nonetheless significantly more muscular, less strange and really more harmonic than the current generation from 2006
Honda has kept the items that buyers have been pleased, namely the sporting run properties, the practical theater seat arrangement where bagsæderne can pad up against the front seats, and the 5-door body style.
In 2006 Honda showed incredible courage by replacing the then anonymous – not to say boring designed model with an all-new styrthjelms-shaped design with hidden Alfa Romeo 156-doors and instrument Board from the Starship Enterprise.
2012-the vintage year represents a minor sensation-provoking model switch, but a 35 cm longer total length gives the impression of a larger car. The new model is 1 cm wider than its predecessor, but has the same capacity with 470 litres in the luggage compartment
Honda retains its system with other torsion spelling in the car at the rear in order to make the cabin more spacious, but promise higher comfort.
Honda Truckin’ with their 1.4 and 1.8 litre petrol in updated versions, and the Danish importer hope that it will be possible that the reintroduction of the factory’s own 2.2-litre turbo diesel with 150 HP in Civic at the Danish premiere in January/February 2012. All variants are out. start/stop and lower consumption than in the current Civic.
Honda says nothing about a 3-door variant or a Type-R Edition, but it would be a crime, if they do not come with a Type R in 2012.
