AC Cars has started production of AC Cobra MkVI. The 2-person sports car will be made available as classic roadster and Coupe with Gull wings. The built in German Gull wing GmbH who have experience and capacity to build a highend-sports car in aluminium in a limited series
“Each year sold there as many as 1,500 replicas of the AC Cobra in the United States,” says Alan Lubinsky from AC Sports Cars. “Why would anyone have a replica, when they can get the authentic AC roadster, which is both lighter and much higher build quality?”
The engine is a 6.2-litre Corvette V8 with either 437 or 647 HP that adheres to the latest EU emission requirements. The brakes are 4-stamped ventilated discs from Porsche on 332 mm and 298 mm behind.
