2012 3-series is designed in the same style as the 5-series, and has continued to langsliggende motor, rear drag and a weight distribution of 50/50 front/rear.
The default is Driving Experience Control with ECO PRO feature, including the four run-time features, which makes it possible to choose between sport, very sportsmanlike, comfortable and very economical driving. The recovery of braking energy, gear shift indicator, air-conditioning compressor, with the possibility of uncoupling in several of the models and demand-driven consumption units are all helping to reduce the fuel consumption further
